The awards will be made on Wednesday 21 December 2005 at 10.30am at Tiara's on Muglet Lane, Maltby.

Forthcoming Events

Maltby Town Council is running a Best Kept Garden Competition this year to reward budding(!!) gardeners in the Township of Maltby. Residents are invited to enter by printing and completing the entry form and returning it to the address on the form. Judging will take place week commencing Monday 19th July and the judges decision will be final.

N.B. In order to see the entry form, you will need to have Get Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have this, you can download a copy from the Adobe Website.

In August we will be holding our Horticultural Show. Further details to follow soon...

Louise Bloor Presentation

21st January saw the latest Town Council meeting, (minutes to follow soon). During the course of the evening, the awards were presented to the winners of the 'Best Dressed Window' competition, along with a presentation to Louise Bloor.

Louise Bloor is a local Maltby Girl who won the BBC "Born to Win Girl Athlete of the Year Competition 2003".
The competition consisted of many gruelling rounds that were shown every Saturday evening on the BBC.
Chairman G Robinson presented Louise with a certificate of achievement and congratulated her on behalf of the Maltby Town Council.

Best Dressed Window Competition - Results

We have the results of the Best Decorated Chiristmas Window judged in December they are as follows:

They will be presented with their awards on Wednesday 21st January 2004 at 7pm at the start of the Town Council Meeting which is held in the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall, Tickhill Road.

We have also asked Lousie Bloor to attend the meeting to be presented with a commendation for her achievement in winning the BBC Best Girl Athelete in the Born to Win Competition. Loiuse is a local Maltby girl and her progress through the competion was closely watched by many residents of Maltby.
