What is it?
The aims of the Maltby Forum is to progress, chase and revise the Community Plan, identify new areas of concern or development within the plan and to appoint representatives to other organisations such as the Integrated Development Plan steering group and Maltby Community Development Trust.
It is a place where residents and workers of Maltby can find out what is happening in Maltby and a place for them to talk about what they think and to bring new ideas or concerns.
The Forum can formulate strategies for any new or existing ideas as identified through it's meetings, and can then be passed over to Maltby Community Development Trust to carry out feasibility studies, unless it is more appropriate for the idea to be passed over to another organisation that is already working in that field (ie Sure Start, Town Council etc).
The Forum can then discuss whether or not to support a project and pass it back to the MCDT or other appropriate organisations for implementation of that project. Regular reports are fed back to the Forum on progress.
The Maltby Forum meets 4 times a year, whose membership is open to all residents and workers of Maltby.
